Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Group
The Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Group is specifically designed for women with recurrent or metastatic disease. It is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30-7:00 pm in Meeting Room I of the Cancer Center. This support group focuses on the specific needs of women battling breast cancer for a second time. There is no registration necessary.
Breast Cancer Support Group
The Breast Cancer Support Group is for women battling breast cancer. This group provides an open forum for individuals to share their stories and gain support from other women. It is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:00-6:30 pm.

Our holistic approach to treatment integrates the latest diagnostic and therapeutic advances with programs that stimulate and nurture your spirit to help ease the pain of your condition while promoting relaxation, calm and creativity. If a class does not have a fee, it is brought to cancer survivors and their loved ones by funding provided by the annual Beverly Breast Cancer Walk.
Learn easy yoga postures including stretching and breathing techniques, as a wonderful way to enhance the mind and body. Meets Mondays 11:00 am-12:00 pm and Thursdays 6:15-7:15 pm. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
Mini Spa Treatment
Developed to provide love and support to cancer patients undergoing treatment, it includes massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, aromatherapy and Reiki (energy work). Offered Wednesdays from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
Includes insertion of ultra-thin needles at specific points (meridian lines) to restore the body's energy balance, to relieve pain, nausea and maintain a sense of well-being. A physician's order and advance registration is required. Cost: $60.
With headphones and audio equipment, Dr. Giles will help you relax using music and voice to achieve a state of self-hypnosis. Available the second Saturday of the month, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Advance registration is required. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
A 30-60 minute session that uses touch to restore and balance the energy systems within the body to help you relax, relieve anxiety and reduce pain. Advance registration is required. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
Look Good, Feel Better
A monthly program co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this nationally featured program highlights women who have learned to enhance their appearance during cancer treatment using make-up, wigs and scarves. Women receive a sample kit of make-up as well as dinner. Available the second Monday of the month, 3:30-5:30 pm. Advance registration is required. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
Picnic in the Park
A free weekly educational program featuring a speaker with a presentation on a relevant topic. Lunch is served. Advance registration is required. Meets in Meeting Room I. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
The Art Class
Features an Integrative Therapy artist's instruction for those who have painted at least once with her using watercolor technique. Available the first Monday of the month from 2:00-4:00 pm. Advance registration is required. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
Y-Me Support Group
A breast cancer support group that meets the first Tuesday of every month from 7:00-8:30 pm in Meeting Room M of the Cancer Center. Call 708.229.6015 for more information. This is free to cancer survivors and their loved ones.
C.H.E.E.R. (Choices, Humor, Enhancement, Education, Renewal) Meetings
This support group brings people with life threatening diseases together using humor and peer support as tools to enhance healing. Chronic illnesses include: cancer, diabetes, heart disease, or arthritis. Meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7:00-8:00 pm. Call 708.423.5774 for location and information. Beverly Breast Cancer Walk
From supporting and allowing for expansion of free integrative therapy programs for cancer patients at LCMH to the purchase of Little Company of Mary's two digital mammography systems, walkers have touched countless lives.
